Hi, I'm Tom! I'm an American and a native English speaker. I've been learning Russian for many years, so I know how hard (and fun!) a new language can be.
Speakeasy is a friendly conversation club for people learning English as a second language. It's a relaxed place to build confidence and have fun.

No pressure
It's normal to feel nervous speaking a new language. Here, everyone is learning. Nobody grades you, and mistakes are expected. It's how we learn!
It's fun!
Natural conversation is the most fun way to learn. You laugh, share stories, and learn new words without even trying. When it's fun, learning feels easy.
How it works
- Save your seat. Pick an event and RSVP (tell us you're coming). Groups are small, so everyone gets time to talk.
- Just come. Any level of English is okay. You don't need to prepare anything.
- Can't make it? Cancel with your sign-up link, so someone on the waitlist can take your seat.
